Forgiveness

Power...the very word holds such respect & well, power over people. But what is power ? Power over mind? Over circumstances? Over people? Forgiveness is power. It is one of our greatest human strengths. Yet so many see forgiveness as weakness. The very meaning of forgiveness is skewed to mean lack of power. But anger has such great power to reduce us to nothing, just mere shells. Forgiveness for what preceeded the anger is what sets us free, gives us power over ourselves, our actions, our reactions. Forgiveness makes you stronger. And weakens those who wish to control you.
