A bounty of thoughts & ideas

My head is crammed to the cranium with ideas for new handcrafted pieces, & new chapters or thoughts for novels. But if I don't write them down when the thought beats it's way into my brain, it is usually lost, deleted, gone to the recycle bin in nowhereland. So I have learned to always keep a journal & pen handy. For me, a bookcase by my bed makes a good keeping place for my journal. Even if I'm at the other end of the house, if I make a mad dash, vaulting over the oddly scattered pets & other obstacles, I can grab the pen & journal & pen an entry before the thought fleetingly prances from my consciousness. For my car, I have a digital recorder. Then I can transcribe the words at home onto my computer.
