My favorite stuffed animal

Oh sure, I'm a bit past the Toys R Us crowd...just barely mind you. But you know, when I'm feeling lonely, or sad, or sick, my rag doll I got when I was 5, brings me the comfort I want & need. A cuddle with Esmeralda, yes that's her name, makes me feel better.

Do you have a favorite stuffed friend from your childhood ? Or maybe a new friend, given to you by someone special. For some reason, these toys bring us the same comfort as certain foods do when we are feeling down. Maybe it's the memories, maybe it's just the memory of how much better we felt when we gave these furry friends a cuddle before we'd drift off to sleep.
